Another of our Coalville projects gets planning consent from North West Leicestershire District Council. The detailed planning application by Charles Street Buildings sought permission for 44,000sqft of B2 and/or B8 use on a spare plot of land at the Bardon Hill industrial estate. The application was managed by Marrons Planning with layout design by SGP. We provided a Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy, and Transport Assessment. Levels complicated both drainage and highways, with the land falling to the River Sence to the north requiring tanked attenuation under the car park and complicating access from the end of the Franks Road cul-de-sac.
