Melton Borough Council have approved an application by Belvoir Cricket Club for a new clubhouse and indoor cricket school. . The new pavilion will include four changing rooms and a club room with capacity for up to 60 people, a bar and kitchen. The cricket school will provide three cricket lanes, an office for the Belvoir Cricket and Countryside Trust, and other ancillary rooms. Accessed from Knipton Road, focus was on the safety of the access, and demonstrating that sufficient car parking would be provided, given the range of seasonal events and overlapping activities.
