A small development, of 18 dwellings, but bedevilled with technical challenges, Rutland County Council have granted consent to Langton Homes’ proposal on Cold Overton Road at Langham. The site is adjacent to the Langham Brook, and experiences considerable surface water flooding. Our Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy report devised a suitable surface water discharge strategy and designed attenuation features. Transport matters were complicated by the need to provide a pedestrian connection to the village centre, over the bridge on Cold Overton Road.
