Gedling Colliery scheme approved

On 7 November 2018 Gedling Borough Council approved Harworth’s planning application for the redevelopment of part of the former Gedling Colliery.  The scheme includes 60,000sqft of employment floorspace in three units, an 8,611sqft pub/restaurant, and a 3,013sqft drive-thru.  The development is reliant on the proposed Gedling Access Road that is being designed by Nottinghamshire County Council and will serve the Chase Farm development of 1,050 houses and local centre that is currently emerging out of the former colliery.  The key part of our work was to demonstrate that Harworth’s scheme would not require any changes to the design of the Access Road.
