Last week saw Ashfield District Council resolve to grant planning permission for a large B2/B8 development on land east of M1 J27 at Annesley. The project came to us as a hospital pass after another consultancy had reached a stalemate after two years of trying to resolve the highways issues. We restarted the conversations with Nottinghamshire County Council and National Highways, and following a lot of hard work and detailed modelling we resolved the outstanding concerns. We’d like to show the engineering drawing of the new signal controlled access, new fourth roundabout arm, and extensive cycle infrastructure, but in this case we think that is trumped by the excellent visuals by nineteen47.
