We are very pleased to report that Davidsons planning application for 120 dwellings on Kirby Road in Desford has been allowed on appeal. An outline application was submitted in 2019, supported by our Transport Assessment and Flood Risk Assessment reports. The application was refused. A new application was submitted in 2022, which again we supported. It was also refused, with two reasons, one highways related despite no objection from the County Council. At the Public Inquiry David Cummins provided expert highways evidence and along with the rest of the client team’s efforts the Inspector found the application should not have been refused.
