SEGRO Logistics Park Northampton (slp-northampton.com)
Desiring to repeat their success at East Midlands Gateway, Roxhill Developments assembled the same team to promote another strategic rail freight interchange at M1 Junction 15, known as Northampton Gateway. A Development Consent Order (DCO) application for this Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project was granted in October 2019.
We led the transport working group set up to support the proposal, which includes 5 million sqft of B8 floorspace. We authored the Transport Assessment that identified the mitigation works, including major improvements to M1 Junction 15, 15a, the A45, and a bypass for the village of Roade. We presented evidence at the DCO examination.
