Some good news to start the week, as we learn that Mountpark and Cuvette’s appeal against refusal of a new employment scheme has been allowed. The application sought outline consent for 89,200sqm of B2 (general industrial) and B8 (warehousing) use on a site south of the B585 Wood Lane, in the Bardon Hill employment area. Known as Bardon 3, the development will be opposite Bardon 2, which is progressively being occupied. Although our transport work resolved matters at the application stage with Leicestershire County Council and National Highways, we provided expert witness advice at the Public Inquiry to respond to interested parties.
